Healing the Wounds, an Armed Forces charity based in Tondu, Bridgend, delivers treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to serving personnel, Veterans and the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services.  We also provide support to their families, who unfortunately can often suffer PTSD ‘by proxy’.

The charity realized the need to provide a place for our Forces heroes to receive treatment for PTSD and recover from what they have had to endure through the course of doing their duty, during conflicts past and present.

Wiz and Annie Clift of Knightwick Worcestershireare walking from Llangernyw in Conwy back to Knightwick to raise money for Healing the Wounds but...with donkeys!

The Walking with Donkeys team will be trekking the 157 mile route with their 3 donkeys in tow for two weeks arriving home on Easter Sunday. Wiz and Annie have already managed to raise £730 for Healing the Wounds as well as the Air Ambulance and Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land but there is still plenty of time to donate before they set off on their amazing trek.

To donate to Wiz and Annie and to find out more about the work that Healing the Wounds does visit www.virginmoneygiving.com/walkingwithdonkeys and www.healingthewounds.com
